This course will introduce students to the entrepreneurial world and the start-up process. The course is divided in four different units that each explore one phase of the business development process including framing, prototyping, financing, and pitching. It is designed to be a very practical experience and participants will work in interdisciplinary teams on different real-life business projects. Students are welcome to bring their own business proposals.

This course has both strong personal and professional development components. Students gain professional growth through opportunities to visit different businesses, meet with professionals of different fields, and engage in experiential learning with professional mentors.

This course is designed for a general audience (business and non-business majors) interested in launching their own businesses in the future.
