Last Thursday, at Infinite Spur, we had the opportunity to visit Cibelespacio, the social area of MBFWMadrid, where we could enjoy numerous activities held by the sponsors of the fashion shows.
Last Sunday, the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week came to an end. Luckily, we had the opportunity to attend and live an experience full of fashion and styling, visiting the Cibelespacio stands and enjoying the activities organized by the sponsors of the fashion show. A collection of eight stands, each space offered a unique experience. Designed for social networking, this space provided multiple activities and proposals. It offered the possibility of becoming the protagonist of your own photocall with plenty of photogenic areas where you can take the perfect photo for your Instagram.
Today's blog will offer our experience of touring the Cibelespacio and all the stands. Let's begin with the Iberia spot at the event entrance. Although it may be surprising that Iberia, a national reference in air travel, promotes and sponsors a fashion event like this, the truth is that the airline has been one of the main sponsors of this fashion catwalk since the beginning. Iberia offered two different spaces, one, a VIP space where you could meet famous personalities from the industry, including rapper Rayden, with whom we had the pleasure of meeting, and another one, designed for the public, where you could "go shopping," for the airline products including T-shirts, model airplanes and exclusive edition of the new handbag designed for the flight attendant uniform by Teresa Helbig.
We then visited MÓ, the exclusive brand of Multiópticas, where Front Row, the new capsule collection, was presented and available for sale. This collection is inspired by the world of haute couture, the catwalks of major brands, designers, and supermodels. It is worth mentioning the different activities they offered, such as the raffle that Mó and Allianz Ego did with other pieces from this collection, the Talk organized on the 16th, or the Talk they organized in collaboration with the Slow Fashion firm ESFASCINATING about fashion and sustainability.
Our tour continued to the L'Oreal Paris Stand, one of the main sponsors of the MBFW and the event's official makeup artist and hairdresser. They had a. The event's official makeup and hairdressing company had a fantastic stand where professionals could make up visitors. Most relevant, they organized the "Desfila tu Valía" (Show your Worth) inspired by the firm's iconic slogan, "Because you are worth it." This fashion show intends to inspire all women to be themselves without complexes and with confidence in the world. They also presented their new initiative called Stand Up Against Street Harassment training that attendees could take on iPads installed in the space. The presentation was fascinating and was attended by Nieves Álvarez, Vanesa Romero, and Abril Zamora, who participated in an interview in which they discussed issues about the presence and participation of women in the industry, management quotas, or harassment. Mercedes Benz, the main sponsor of the show, had an elegant stand where visitors could pose with the brand's iconic star, the Mercedes EQS, which unites luxury and sustainability. As part of their activities, Mercedes offered a series of Talks with different fashion industry fashion experts, live fashion shows, or coffee in the MB café.
This year, Morocco was the Official Destination of MBFW, and the stand-in Cibelespacio brought visitors to a new universe of Inspiration, Creation, Movement, and Light … in the exhibit Morocco, The Kingdom of Light. In the presentation, we could enjoy the country's typical gastronomy through the show cooking "Healthy Secrets of Morocco" by chef El Hadi, a renowned television star in his country. To have the opportunity to get to know the country firsthand, visitors could participate in a draw to win 3 luxury trips for two to Morocco.
We then visited Clínicas Dorsia's stand, the important chain of aesthetic centers that offer a totally innovative, lively, and dynamic space open to the participation of visitors. This year Dorsia seeks to bring out its most daring and wildest side by expressing and externalizing part of the firm values through a colorful display, with striking lighting and the vegetation and fauna creating a space that will be difficult to forget.
Lastly, the Allianz Ego showroom deserves special mention. We could call it the jewel in the crown of Cibelespacio since it was the space featuring the designs of the young talents of national fashion. The area also offered a complete program of talks on innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship in the fashion industry. A fascinating space, full of activity and vitality, that looked to the future, whether in the designs, the designers, or the Allianz Ego Talks.
We hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as we did writing it. Overall, it was an exciting, fun, and recommendable experience! We'll come back next year to see what the Cibelespacio offers, and we encourage you to be with us in the next edition of the MBFWMadrid.
We leave you here with some videos of our visit, so you can get a better idea of the experience.
