Online Course Description
Do you have a local business idea that you want to extrapolate to the international scene? Have you ever wondered what is the route of action or what are the keys to developing an international marketing strategy? If you have, then this International Marketing online course is for you. This online course offers an overview of the fundamentals of marketing in the context of international business and within the framework of global marketing management. In addition, we will delve into international marketing concepts such as: the application of different marketing tools in the internationalization strategy and the importance of adapting to different cultural, political and economic environments to be successful in the global context.
The program has a focus on the powerful Spanish fashion industry that for 2018 billed around 2.4 billion Euros. We will analyze Spanish fashion brands that have achieved international success such as: Grupo Inditex, Mango, Hawkers among many others. Another added value that we highlight in this program is the opportunity to have talks and interviews with personalities from the fashion industry, such as the director of the Madrid fashion show or the CEO of HOW2GO among many others. On the other hand, we will virtually visit iconic fashion places such as The Costume Museum and The Silk Museum (both in Spain) that throughout history will teach us the evolution not only in fashion trends but also in the way of marketing and promoting these products.
To land what we have learned, we will work in groups with students from different parts of the world in a collaborative project where we will design a product and its international marketing strategy. We will apply agile methodologies such as Design Thinking and Intercultural Management that we will learn through workshops with expert teachers on the subject.
