Our Program
Welcome to English for Us, a program specialized in teaching English to students with special educational needs. Our goal is to offer accessible classes to all. We encourage the practice of functional English to promote educational inclusion, empower students' self-esteem and social skills, increase their employability, and develop international awareness in our unique students.
We have been working on this project since 2015, but in the summer of 2020, we decided to create a fun, challenging, and valuable summer activity for students who typically do not have the opportunity to travel abroad to practice English. With this premise, and with the help of our colleagues at PennWest Clarion University, we took our students "abroad" through virtual English classes taught by professors from the United States.
It was an incredible and transformative experience that opened students to the rest of the world.
Now we continue.
How do we teach?
English for Us offers quality teaching and complete immersion in the English language and culture. Classes are delivered by native teachers. Our methodology integrates the CEFR, the communicative method, and easy-to-read materials. The teaching-learning process emphasizes direct communication between students, the group, and the teacher. Contents are adapted to the interest and context of our students, who are the true protagonists of the learning process.
01
The goal of the classes is to practice the basic competencies of the English language that allow students to talk about themselves, where they live, people they know, what they like and other familiar topics in an educational, professional, or social environment.

Our Virtual Space!
All our courses have a SPIOC format (Small Private International Online Courses). The classes offer a private virtual space where students learn, explore new worlds, interact with international students, and enjoy unique cultural activities from the comfort their home.
Face-to-face
We also offer face-to-face classes where students get the opportunity to interact directly with their teachers and peers and enjoy cultural activities and games outside the classroom.
