What are you going to do?
Teaching online requires different tools and a different set of skills and attitudes towards the classroom and students. The goal of this program is to provide students and teachers with specific instruments and methodologies to teach effectively in a virtual environment. Students will learn how to integrate powerful technological platforms and apps into the classroom methodologies and make classes more effective, edifying, and fun.
The program fosters the integration of virtual technology to connect with the world, with different peoples and cultures, allowing us to turn our classroom into an authentic Global Classroom.
Students will work collaboratively in international teams developing a virtual portfolio of adapted materials for the different areas and methodologies studied during the course.

All our courses have our designed SPIOC format (Small Private International Online Courses) to facilitate the learning experience of faculty and students. How it Works
The course lasts 45 hours and takes place over one semester in which students meet in synchronous classes via zoom.
The group is in direct contact with the coordination through an exclusive WhatsApp channel and has all the course materials uploaded in a private Google Class.
They will also use different technological apps, Kahoot, Slack, or Miró, to facilitate work and communication in the group work.
Classes are recorded and uploaded in the Google class to facilitate the student's participation.
The program includes one 45-hour class and a 10-hour workshop in which students will work on an international collaborative project creating an adapted virtual portfolio on a topic of their choice.
NEW CHALLENGES OT TEACHING ENGLISH ON A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT
Teaching in a virtual classroom requires specific techniques, tools, and skills; it allows us to extend our class to the outside work if we learn how to use all the resources available to us. But to teach in a digital environment, we have to learn about the technology available to us, the teaching methodologies of each of the disciplines that we teach, and how to integrate them effectively.
We will divide the course into five modules that will explore each of these fields. First, students will learn about the different tools and technological platforms that we have at our disposal; we will continue to delve into the CEFR and how to apply it in the classes and in the CLIC principles to see how to integrate them into the classroom.
As part of the course, students will work collaboratively in international teams developing a virtual portfolio of adapted materials for the different areas and methodologies studied during the course.

And then, if you want to complete the experience with an immersion trip in Madrid.
You can complete the course with an immersive experience in Madrid. The immersion programs, of two weeks duration, are developed in January or May/June to be able to adjust to the academic calendar.
They are designed to practice everything you have learned in the Virtual Program and deepen the contents. You will meet your professors, classmates and professionals and visit some of the schools and organizations that you have studied over the course.
Also, during your stay in Madrid, you can enjoy the rich artistic and historical tradition of the city, the magnificent museums, and the vibrant cultural life of the city.
