What are you going to do?

The goal of this immersion trip is to provide architecture and design students with a practical and unforgettable international experience in Spain. Students will learn about the modern and traditional design industry, meet with designers, visit different companies and showrooms, and explore sustainable and innovative projects that set the guidelines for the future of design.

At the same time, we will see that the architecture of Madrid is very diverse. Large historic buildings coexist harmoniously with modern skyscrapers and contemporary works of the latest generation, revealing different phases of their evolution and history. This variety makes Madrid among the first destinations for scholars of architecture and art. The experience focuses on:

  • They will explore Madrid´s stage tradition through visits to halls, theaters, and projects of the capital.

  • Over time, they will learn about the rich historical, literary, artistic, and cultural traditions.

This course is designed for a general audience interested in architecture and design.

Academics

Our goal is to provide a direct and practical academic and professional immersion experience. This is why our programs integrate different types of activities, including masterclasses, conferences, presentations, workshops, or round tables as well as visits to companies, institutions, or participation in relevant events of each sector.

Our professors are active professionals who combine their professional careers with the practice of teaching; this way we can all benefit from their direct experience in the business world.

As part of the program, students will work on a collaborative project led by our teachers/professionals in the area.

All materials are available in Google Class, so you don't have to buy any books.
